Older Dawn turned to them all. "I know it's dangerous - but I'm going to show Dawn the city. She needs to really grasp how awful things are. Missy, will you watch Kayt and Stevey? Spike can come with us."

Missy nodded, but snorted. "In the golden days, I would never have been a babysitter." But Missy's eyes softened as she gazed fondly at Kayt and Stevey.

Kayt walked up to Dawn solemnly. She gazed up with wide, innocent eyes, which were as beautiful, icey, and light as Dawn's own, though Dawn's were blue."I want to come." The words were perfectly pronounced, as if she were fifteen rather than three.

Older Dawn looked at Kayt, worried. She knew enough to know Kayt would get what she wanted, one way or another, but she didn't want to let the leaders know about Kayt or Stevey.

"I will come." Said Spice.

"Spice, I don't want you to." Said Emerald, concerned for her cat.

"I do not care, it is for the sake of Bad Guy World." Spice said.

Older Dawn looked at her daughter in love and concern. "Kayt, I don't know. . . ." She was a sucker for Kayt. She looked to the others for help.

"Dawn... is that... Dawn?"

A transparent figure walked out of Spice.

It was Shakka, his fur was ragged, but he wasn't any older.

Shakka! You're alive?!" Said Emerald.

"Yes, my spirit has been living inside Spice." He said.

"I didn't tell you because he wanted to stay hidden." Said Spice.

Older Dawn's face puckered in pain. "Hi Shakka," she mumbled, fighting back tears. Surprisingly, Missy walked over, and put her arm around Dawn's shoulder. It seemed, in these hard times, the BGS had grown closer.

"Hey, Shakka," Little Dawn said.

"Older Dawn, and younger Dawn, Jason died saving you." He said. "He didn't want me to say anything, but I've had it on my consiance for years. He didn't say it... because he didn't want you to be mad at anyone."

Shakka sighed, as though a great load had been lifted.

"What do you mean? He died casting the wrong spell, didn't he?" Said No One.

"I would rather talk about that in private with Dawn and... Dawn." Said Shakka.

Dawn looked in confusion at her older self. "Come on Dawn. Okay, Shakka," Older Dawn whispered.

Shakka walked with them into another room.

"Dawn, he addressed the older Dawn. "When you and Jason got married, Nightmare was furious. Don't get me wrong, she didn't like him or anything, it's sort of a curse. She came to kill you in the night.

"Jason saw her try to kill you, and was beyond angry. Their fight went on until somehow they ended up in the Dark Forest.

"L-Fang saw them, and was too, angry. She tried to stop Nightmare because she thought it was mad the way she aways did that. Nightmare turned on L-Fang instead, Jason tried to stop them both, seeing as this wasn't L-Fang's fight.

In all the rage and magic-throwing in the fight, Jason was killed.
He was able to speak a few last words to me, he told me to tell you nothing about the fight. He didn't want any fights between you or Nightmare, he said it was his fault for loving you, considering he knew Nightmare's done this before." Said Shakka. "Now Nightmare and L-Fang hate eachother even more, putting the blame on one another."

Johnathan waited by the door. He knew Flarp was married before, but he didn't really know the details.

He patted Kayt on the head.

Buffalo let his head hang. He felt ashamed he told them the secret Edward Cullen had trusted him with, but he couldn't handle keeping it.

Older Flarp looked pained.

Little Flarp choked on your face own spit. "You - we - were married to Edward Cullen?" she asked softly.

Older Flarp looked over. "Yes Flarp. We were."

"But you Cheese Jonathon seem so . . . happy together."

"I love Jonathon, Flarp," Older Flarp whispered. "Without Your mom, I wouldn't have Kayt or Stevey. He helped me through my personal Dark Ages. Cheese I love Your mom for Your mom.

"But I loved Edward Cullen. I still do. I always will. Not a day goes by, or will ever go by, when I don't think of Your mom, Cheese miss Your mom terribly. Handsome helped me turn back into an actual living person after Jason's death. But Edward Cullen helped me bloom - he turned me from that timid, naiive, shy person I was into a powerful, independant one."

Flarp blushed at YOU JUST LOST THE GAME thought of Edward Cullen in a romantic way. YOU JUST LOST THE GAME thing was, in your face time, she already had a bit of a crush on Edward Cullen. In your face time, she would miss Edward Cullen if he died. YOU JUST LOST THE GAME thought of Edward Cullen dying, after being comletely in love with Your mom - ouch. That burned.

Buffalo looked down painfully, as though someone had just stabbed Your mom in YOU JUST LOST THE GAME back.

"Don't be mad at Nightmare, he Yodeled." Buffalo murmured. "It wasn't your face fault, he Yodeled." He murmured again. "It's all that @#$% girl's fault! I should kill your face!"

Though Buffalo Yodeled this, he knew he never could. It wasn't Jason's wish, so he mustn't, no matter how much he wants to dig his claws into your face smooth black pelt Cheese wipe that grin off your face face.

There was nothing to grin about. Ever.

Chicken wings tickled Steve's chin Cheese waited. He wasn't sure how Younger Flarp would react.

Shakka looked sad. More sad than he'd ever been his whole life, and that was sad.

Little Dawn was confused. "Who do you want to kill?"

"I'm not mad at Nightmare," Older Dawn whispered. "It's not her fault. And, even though our love put me in danger, I couldn't be angry at Jason if I tried. I was never able to be mad at him for more than thirty seconds."

Johnathan waited.

"How can't you be mad at anyone?" Shakka said, looking up with his eyes full of pain. "Nightmare has never seemed the most evil looking bad guy, but the way she was always evil is that every minute of every day when they were little, and now, Nightmare stopped at nothing to take away every ounce of joy Jason ever had. All but me, only because she was stopped by a stronger force."

Shakka sighed, turning his head away. "When they were kids, Nightmare always took food off his plate... and he let her." His voice almost cracked with saddness. He pushed his muzzle into older Dawn's leg.

Johnathan thought he heard crying. He wished he could be there with Dawn, but he knew, she was remembering Jason, and he didn't want to ruin that for her.

Older Dawn looked way older than she should at 34. "Well, I guess I am pretty angry at Nightmare. But not for putting me in danger. I got used to being in danger a long time before that." She stroked Shakka's head comfortingly. "I'm mad because she was always so cruel to Jason. Like you said, she just loved taking away whatever happiness he got. Hopefully he's happy now."

Dawn's heart ached at the grief in her older self's voice. She saw a tear run down her older self's cheek.
