Future 2.0

"What bothers me is that he just let her." Said Shakka. "And he won't come back because... well there's no plot left."

Shakka realized younger Dawn probably wouldn't understand this. "Since all the creators left, Bee isn't here to think of more story. That's it."

Dawn felt awkward. She felt intrusive - even though technically this was about her future self.

No One appeared behind older Dawn.

"I know you are having a moment here, but I really do think younger Dawn needs to see what's happened so she understands how important this is." He said.

Older Dawn looked up. "You're right," she sighed. "Enough with the sappy stuff." Her voice showed that she was trying to be brave.

"Dawn, I need to take you to where Bad Guy world is now. What it is now. Ready?"

Dawn looked up. "Um, sure?"

"Let's go."

Shakka decided to stay behind. He didn't want anyone to see him.

"If you like, and it would be safer, if I came and made you both invisible. Just be quiet when talking and don't stumble or I might let go." Said No One.

Dawn exchanged a glance with her older self. She didn't trust herself not to stumble. But she nodded. "Okay."

All three of them walked outside.

No One grabbed both their shoulders, then they were all invisible.

Older Dawn made them appear in the middle of the old Bad Guy World. It looked like this:

Except with no people.

The sky was dark and stormy and black. Flashes of lightning and booms of thunder rolled, but there was no rain.

"Oh . . . " Dawn said. She saw something, and knelt down. It was black marble - the bar of Shasta's bar.

"Shh!" Said No One, kneeling and making them kneel.

An older tiger walked by, he wore a suit and sunglasses and a black bandana, holding a gun in his hand.

He sniffed the air. "That Jasper's been 'round here... I know it." He said in a smooth, yet rough voice. He walked away.

Dawn glanced at him fearfully. Jimmy? she mouthed.

Older Dawn nodded.

This is so ugly! Dawn mouthed.

Older Dawn nodded again.

Where do Tusumi and Dean live then? Surely they don't live in this dump? Dawn mouthed, not bothering to wonder how even though they were invisible they could see each other.

Older Dawn gestured with a flick of her head.

There was a huge black castle in the distance. It looked like this:

There were gates around it, and outside the gates, there was a whole village full of these:

There were a few tiny shops and stuff, but that was it.

No One pulled them up, then walked towards the village where you could see a few people walking around, but not many.

Meanwhile...
-in the present-

Bee, who was sitting in her director's chair with her drawing pad sighed.

"Gosh, imagine what it would be like in the future, Miss drawing pad." It appeared she had been talking to it.

Bee stared at it.

"Well that's silly! It looks like a movie poster or something. And don't you think Dawn would be a bit older?" She said, giggling.

Kiwi walks up fondling Tusumi, and peeks over Bee's shoulder. "That is silly!" she insisted. "If I didn't know better, I'd so those were the pups. And anyone knows they're too innocent to be so evil and cruel!" she cooed to Tusumi.

Tusumi stared at the picture thoughtfully. A flash of intuition went through his eyes, and then they went back to thoughtful.

"And besides, wouldn't Dawn be older?" Kiwi asked. XD

-Future-

They walked around. I need to show you something Older Dawn mouthed to Little Dawn. They walked up to a cottage that had two stories. Older Dawn, still invisible, opened the unlocked front door, and stepped inside with Little Dawn and No One.

Inside, the stone floor was covered with bright rugs, looking like a failed attempt to brighten up things. There were toys littering the floor, from Hot Wheels and Barbies to Nintendo DS's and magazines. There were no doors on the bottom floor - just open doorways. There was a large dining room table in the room they'd walked in on. On its right was a huge kitchen with flour and sugar and stuff everywhere, then there was a hallway leading to a bathroom, a room with a large flatscreen TV and an XBOX 360 and beanbag chairs and books and toys scattered everywhere. The next room was locked, but Older Dawn closed her eyes, and the lock clicked open. There was a coffee table with a set of tarot cards, candles in the form of a pentegram, and a huge spellbook with this symbol on the front:

Except the symbol was bloodred on the green leather of the book.

There was a small altar in the corner, and huge bookshelves full of jars with ingredients and stuff in them.

Suddenly a girl dashed into the rooms. She looked like this:

She looked around seven. The only thing different from her pick was the fact that she had zebra ears, and a zebra tail.

"Penny is a freak, Penny is a freak!" a voice called. Suddenly, an older boy that looked around sixteen or seventeen walked in. He looked like this:

His hair was not only black, but it had white streaks through it. That was the only thing unusual about him.

"SHUT UP, PARKER!!!" the younger girl, Penny, shouted angrily. When she was angry like that, she looked remarkably like . . . Phoebe.

A girl around fourteen ran in with a toy monkey, laughing. She looked like this:

Except she had zebra ears also, hidden in her hair, which was black at top, then slowly grew lighter until it was blinding white at the bottoms.

Then, a crying boy dashed in, looking like around five and like this:

He had zebra ears and a zebra tail too.

"GIVE IT BACK, PAIGE!!!!" he screamed.

"Come and get it, Petey!" the older girl, Paige, taunted, waving the monkey above the little boy's head.

The little boy, Petey, jumped to get it, only to fall on his but, much to Paige's mocking laughter.

Over in the corner, Penny had apparently tackled her older brother, Parker, and Parker had her in a headlock. She was screaming her head off, much of the flow swearwords, and Paige had jumped onto the coffee table with her brother's toy, while Petey lay sobbing on the floor.

"KIDS, SHUT UP!!!!" a familiar angry shout came.

Much to Dawn's surprise, Phoebe walked in. She was in her early fourties, with her brown hair longer, with a streak of gray here or there, and her eyes were wearier and angrier. It looked like she'd lived a very rough twenty years.

She froze in the doorway. "How'd you guys get in?!" she shouted.

All kids froze. It seemed however unruly they were, they feared their mother greatly. "It was open when I ran in," Penny whispered.

"Well, Paige, give Petey back Mr. Monkey, and Parker, stop teasing your sister, and I think that's it," Phoebe said. "Oh no wait I forgot to tell you . . . GET OUT!!!!!"

All the kids fled from the room.

Johnny continued to wait.

((Lawl.....Johnny's going to have to play solitare.......he's getting bored! XDDD))

After the kids left, the door swung open, having been kicked.
A very angry person who looked like this walked in:

... Except she was holding a gun up towards Phoebe and seemed a bit out of breath. No One quietly backed out of the way of it with the Dawns.

"You've got ten seconds to tell me where my bracelet is." She said between pants. "I know you took it to make me mad. And it worked."

Phoebe looked unconcerned. "I'm really afraid of a gun. Cassie, what are you talking about? How should I know where a stupid chain that goes around a rabbit's wrist is?"

Cassie groaned. She moaned a swear, then threw the gun in Phoebe's general direction in anger. "I can't find it ANYWHERE! Nobody has it."

The gun missed Phoebe by a three feet radius.

"I could help you look for it, if you'd like," Phoebe offered. "It would get me out of this house full of screaming children," she mumbled to herself.

((I don't know if Phoebe would be married. Probably. But to who?))

"That'd be awesome, thanks." Said Cassie.

Phoebe nodded. She and Cassie walked out of the room, No One and the Dawns following silently.

"KIDS!!" Phoebe screamed. "I'm going out!!! DON'T run with scissors, DON'T play with matches, DON'T talk to strangers, and DON'T ruin the house!!!"

They all went out the door.

meanwhile . . .

Tusumi sat down on a throne. "I think we need to take a detour into town for a while brothers," he murmured.

Cassie laughed, following Phoebe out the door.

Meanwhile...

"I agree." Said Thade.

"There is a strange person... " Murmured Santos. He grabbed a piece of paper and a pencil and began doing a very good scetch of little Dawn's face with lots of lines.

Dean drifted over, and peered over Santos's shoulders. "That looks remarkably like Dawn at the age of 14," he said.

"This is urgent," Tusumi said."Why would they bring her here? We need to find her."

"She can time travel, yes? It's possible she came from a different time. Remember, she wasn't exactly an einstein back then." Said Thade calmly.

"Yes," Tusumi agreed, not sounding concerned. "But her future self is another matter."
